TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Below you will find useful information regarding online booking. You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more.
We would like to point out that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Agreement Act's rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cabins, summer houses, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Agreement Act, section 18, subsection 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation. The reason for this is that re-letting a reserved cabin/site that is cancelled just a few days before arrival will often not be possible.
Ordering and payment
If you book a stay with your own caravan/tent/motorhome, DKK 500 is paid in advance immediately after the booking is made, the balance is paid at check-in. If you book a stay in a cabin, 25% of the full amount is paid immediately after the booking is made, the balance is paid 60 days before arrival.
Immediately after receiving your order, Nordstrand Camping A/S will send you a rental receipt by email. If you do not receive an email with your rental receipt, please check your spam and/or junk mail.
Checking rental certificate
Upon receipt of the rental certificate, it is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that the period and the selected unit are correct.
Cancellation (without purchase of Cancellation Protection)
Cancellation of paid stays where cancellation protection has not been purchased will not result in a refund of the amount paid.
Cancellation protection
We recommend that you purchase our Cancellation Protection when you book a stay at Nordstrand Camping A/S. This way you are protected if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellation protection also covers illness.
When booking by telephone, the following applies:
If you wish to purchase cancellation protection, the buyer must state that they wish to purchase Nordstrand Camping A/S cancellation protection together with the booking.
When booking online, the following applies:
You must choose whether you want Cancellation Protection.
Price:
Cancellation protection costs DKK 300 per booked unit and must be ordered at the same time as the stay. After payment, Cancellation Protection can no longer be ordered/cancelled.
How you are covered by our Cancellation Protection
In case of illness, the following applies:
In cases where a booking includes multiple units (space for a caravan/tent/motorhome or cabin), cancellation only includes the unit that the person with the disease was supposed to occupy.
Cancellation protection covers until 12:00 on the day of arrival. The full amount (minus the price of the Cancellation Protection) will be refunded upon submission of documentation in the form of a medical certificate.
If there is NO illness, the following applies:
More than 60 days before arrival:
Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival results in a return of the full amount minus an administration fee of DKK 500. The price of Cancellation Protection is non-refundable.
60-30 days before arrival:
Cancellation of stay results in a refund of 50% of the amount paid. The price of Cancellation Protection is non-refundable.
29-0 days before arrival:
Cancellation of stay does not result in any refund.
During the stay:
In the event of an acute illness, accident or death in the immediate family, you should be aware that you are covered by your private travel insurance. Our Cancellation Protection does NOT cover if you have to interrupt your stay.
Right of withdrawal and refund
We would like to point out that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Agreement Act's rules on the right of withdrawal. The sale of accommodation (cabins, summer houses, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exception in section 18, subsection 2, no. 12 of the Consumer Agreement Act. The booking made is therefore not covered by a 14-day right of withdrawal.
Nordstrand Camping A/S assumes no responsibility for the guest's ability to use the rental property. If you as a guest are cut off from the possibility of transportation to and from the campsite (for example due to canceled flights/trains, problems with the car, traffic conditions, border closures, etc.), you will not be compensated for this.
Guest's responsibilities:
The tenant of a cabin is fully liable for the contents of the cabin. Defects and damage caused by the tenant are settled upon departure. The person who has entered into the lease is also liable for damage caused by other residents and guests in the lease. Cabins may be occupied by a maximum of the number of people stated in the price list.
Complaints
At Nordstrand Camping A/S, mistakes can always occur, although we of course strive to the contrary, and if there are things that you as guests are dissatisfied with, you must contact the reception as soon as possible. Should a rental unit be inadequately cleaned, or should there be damage to the rental unit that we have overlooked, you must contact the reception immediately after arrival (within 3 hours) with a view to having this defect rectified. Complaints about, for example, cleaning that are only made upon departure will not be processed.
If facilities are closed due to regulations prohibiting gatherings or acute problems, Nordstrand Camping A/S cannot be held responsible for this and therefore no price reduction will be given.
Nordstrand Camping A/S cannot be held responsible for the occurrence of animals and insects, as the campsite is located in a natural area.
If you wish to make a complaint after you have returned home, you can write to us at the email address no later than 7 days after departure.
In the event of a disagreement, any legal action will be taken at the Court of Hjørring and cases must be decided according to Danish law.
Prices and discounts
Prices at Nordstrand Camping A/S are adjusted continuously and the current prices can be found on our website. We reserve the right to cancel a rental agreement due to typos and/or printing errors. Discounts cannot be combined.
All prices stated in the online booking system, like everywhere else on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.
Personal data protection
Nordstrand Camping A/S registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but Frederikshavn nordstrand camping retains the registration for 5 years.
Frederikshavn Nordstrand Camping uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.
When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the Internet.
Force Majeure and similar circumstances
If the implementation of the rental agreement is not possible - or is made significantly more difficult - as a result of force majeure or circumstances that can be equated with this, including but not limited to: War, riots, natural disasters, oil and gasoline rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, cessation of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closures, traffic conditions, strikes, lockouts and the like, which could not be foreseen when the rental agreement was concluded, Nordstrand Camping A/S is entitled to cancel the rental agreement as Nordstrand Camping A/S cannot be held liable in the aforementioned cases.
The tenant is not entitled to a refund of the amount paid. However, the tenant will receive a credit note for the amount paid. The credit note can be used to purchase a new stay within a 2-year period.
