Skagen – worth a visit
You can also take a trip out to Denmark's northernmost point, Grenen – either on foot or with Sandormen, which runs all summer. It is possible to park at the starting point.
South of Skagen lies Den Tilsandede Kirke. The church, which, apart from the tower, is buried in sand, is a popular excursion destination for tourists. A little further southwest lies Råbjerg Mile – Denmark’s largest moving dune. The mile covers an area of approx. 1 m2 and contains around 3,5 million m3 of sand!
