An obvious subject for an evening walk or a trip with a fishing rod, as there are fine fishing opportunities from the pier.

With a newly constructed viewing platform extending from the top of Pikkerbakken, Frederikshavn has gained a new attraction. The platform provides a unique view of the city, the harbor and Hirsholmene with a view of both Sæby and Skagen.
Eat, shop and enjoy the holiday atmosphere
In Frederikshavn you will find an extensive shopping scene, where you can shop like crazy in one of the country's longest pedestrian streets. And then you can eat well at one of the city's many cafés and restaurants.
The ferries
The ferry service to Gothenburg leaves its mark on the city, where you can follow the traffic in and out of the harbor. It is always a magnificent sight when one of the giant ferries sets sail, or arrives with a lot of new guests to Denmark or those returning home.
