The swimming beach is only 200 metres from Frederikshavn Nordstrand Camping.
It’s about 500 metres to Frederikshavn’s well-known palm beach, so there are various options.
The beach which faces east, is especially child-friendly as the water is shallow and calm.
There is a big area at the palm beach with beach volleyball courts.
If you’d prefer to laze in the shade, you can lie under the palm trees or one of the many seaweed umbrellas on the beach.
Sun beds can be hired at the coin machine - DKK 20 for the entire day.

The marina Rønnehavnen is also at the two beaches – a beautiful and idyllic fishing environment with yachting enthusiasts, boats, playground and a small café.
Rønnehavnen is an obvious choice for an evening walk or, with the fine fishing from the jetty, a spell with the fishing rod. |
